I have read several reviews comparing the lords of the underworld to the black dagger brotherhood. What do you think?

I think there will always be similarities in books. There are very few books that have a completely original premise. The only book I have read lately that I think was completely original (to me) was Happy Hour of the Damned by Mark Henry. (There may be other books out there that are similar to his, but I haven’t read them) I think that while you can find similarities between these books and the BDB, they aren’t the same thing at all.
